Placing an order

An order is a short, careful sequence. Rushing it is where mistakes happen.

  1. Read the whole listing. Price, shipping, and the vendor terms on reships and refunds.
  2. Encrypt your address to the vendor PGP key and paste the block into the order.
  3. Fund it. The payment goes into escrow, not straight to the vendor.
  4. Keep the order and the messages. They are your case if anything goes wrong.
Do not
Do not agree to move off the market or pay outside escrow. Both throw away every bit of cover you have.
