Making an account

Signing up is quick, but three of the steps decide whether your account stays safe for good. Do them right the first time.

1. Open a real address, checked against the login screen.
2. Pick a username you have never used anywhere. A reused one links this to your real trail.
3. Let your password manager make and keep a unique password.
4. Write down the recovery words the market shows you, on paper, offline.
5. Turn on PGP login right away, so a stolen password alone is not enough.
