Reading a vendor
Most bad buys can be spotted before they happen. The info is right there. People just skip it.
- Level and age. A long, steady history is hard to fake.
- The feedback itself, not just the score. Read the recent, detailed reviews.
- The dispute record. How a vendor handled past trouble is how they will handle yours.
- The terms. Read the shipping, reship and refund rules before you order.
Warning signs
Pushing you to release early, to move off the market, or to pay outside escrow are all classic signs of a vendor getting ready to disappear.Updated 2026-07-14
