Keeping it apart

This is not one clever trick. It is a handful of dull habits that stop the small leaks from adding up into a name.

• Use a username you have never used anywhere. One reused handle links this to your real trail.
• Use a password only for this, in a local manager.
• Keep the market on its own profile, and ideally its own Tails stick.

The free text boxes are where people give themselves away. Messages, dispute notes, reviews. Never drop a real name, a nearby place, or an exact time. Write like it could go public one day.
