Bridges

Some networks block Tor itself. Bridges are unlisted entry points that make the connection look like ordinary traffic, so you can still get on when plain Tor is blocked.

1. In Tor Browser settings, choose to use a bridge.
2. Try a built-in obfs4 bridge first.
3. If those are blocked too, request bridge addresses from the Tor Project and enter them by hand.

Once Tor connects through a bridge, the rest of this handbook works the same. A bridge only changes how you reach the network, not what you do once you are on it. It can be slower, and that is the cost of getting through the block.
